Health and safety is central to every Opal Rail project
 

Works are supported by site-specific risk assessments, method statements, competent personnel and appropriate safe systems of work, with additional rail-specific controls applied according to the infrastructure, location and scope
 

Where works take place on or near operational railway infrastructure, the appropriate competence, authorisation and infrastructure-manager requirements are established before work begins
